GLASS TABLE TOPS & PROTECTORS
What’s the difference?
Glass table tops
This is when the primary surface of the table is made from glass. The glass could fitted on top of various supports with a visible edge. Alternatively, the glass could be recessed within a rim. This style is common for coffee tables & occasional tables.
The thickness of the glass will depend on how it’s supported, and we can supply any thickness you require. There is also a choice of float glass or safety glass. The glass could also be clear or coloured.
Glass table protectors
Glass is also commonly used to protect wooden dining tables, boardroom tables, coffee tables, dressers, dressing tables & bedside cabinets. A glass top is also quite common for giving a more stable surface to some garden furniture.
Again, the thickness of the glass is a personal choice, and can either be float or safety glass. The edges can either be beveled or polished (see images) and the corners can also be dubbed (rounded) if prefered.
Free measuring & quotations.
We are also happy to come out & measure the glass ourselves & provide a quotation, if you’re not 100% confident of getting accurate measurements.
